Suno AI data breach (404 Media)

Hacker breached Suno's database and exposed source code howing how the company scraped music to train its AI. Digital Music News called the breach a "smoking gun" in ongoing copyright infringement lawsuits. Suno admitted scraping the web last year and argued the practice was legal.

The hacker told 404 Media they also accessed Suno's customer list, emails, phone numbers and Stripe payment details. Suno told Pitchfork no personal data was compromised and the exposed code was outdated.

The breach exposes the fragile cybersecurity of popular companies.
