To better understand and serve the creative industries, I attended the Grater Houston Arts Forum on Monday. I connected with a ticketing company, venues, visual artists, musical artists, nonprofits, city staffers and advocacy groups.
We discussed finances, Texas/national policy and of course, art.
The summit was produced with advocacy group Texans for the Arts who is preparing for the 90th legislative session and Texas Arts Advocacy day on February, 11 and are tracking 78 bills currently in committee.
If you’re in Austin, come say hi during the Austin Studio Tour! We’ll be by the courtyard stage at Almost Real Things @ 2324 Studios.
